n-gineric Torque and Clamping Force Measurement Application for Screw Joint Analysis
The criteria for a fail-safe screw driving process is the clamping force in the screw joint.
n-gineric’s intelligent torque/angle sensors can receive data from a secondary torque or force sensor through an RS-485 connection.
Measuring the torque, the angle and the clamping force during a screw tightening process is a typical application providing the curves in a synchronized graph.
For the clamping force measurement, a donut load cell is used, equipped with our intelligent sensor interface, as secondary transducer.
The primary sensor directly communicates with a Windows-PC via Ethernet or USB. There is no other measuring instrument in between.
